Regina Askia started gaining public recognition in Nigeria, when she participated in the 1988 edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN). She was highly tipped to win the crown, but lost to the eventual winner, Bianca Ojukwu.

She had earlier been crowned as Miss UNILAG in the same year. Regina had joined UNILAG after she got transfer from the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Cross River State, where she was studying Medicine.

The beautiful lady also made her mark in Nollywood, where she acted in several films.
Later, she relocated to the US, where she is now working as medical personnel.

But despite being out of the showbiz industry in Nigeria, the name Regina Askia has not left the industry.

She has continued to make news headlines in recent years for different reasons and the latest ‘reason’ (especially in the Yoruba translation) is worth making the eyes roll.

Eyes started rolling when Regina posted some of her pictures on her Facebook wall and those who sighted her backside could not but marvel at the beauty she still commands.

Some were forced to ask if the ex-beauty queen does not age at all. Her mini-skirt, showing her smooth and straight legs also fuelled the desire of some commentators on the photographs.

One can only wonder where staring at the photographs for too long will lead someone too, like the steps she was climbing in the pictures. That is left for you to imagine.
