FIFA Appeals Committee Decides: Sep Blatter And Michel Platini’s Appeals Against 90days Bans Rejected




The appeals lodged by Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini against their 90-day provisional bans have been rejected by FIFA's appeal committee, the football governing body has announced.


FIFA's ethics committee in October suspended outgoing FIFA president Sepp Blatter and UEFA president Michel Platini over a £1.3 million payment made to the UEFA boss in 2011 for work reported to have been completed more than nine years back.

Mr Blatter and Mr Platini are expected to file their cases to the Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS] after their appeals lodged against their providional suspension was rejected by FIFA's appeal committee.
