APC Planning To Disrupt Southern Ijaw Local Government Election

The Bayelsa Professionals Forum is an organization of young indigenes of Bayelsa State in the Professional fields based in Bayelsa State. Our group wishes to alert Bayelsa people and Nigerians in general, of an ongoing attempt by the All Progressives Congress,

APC, to hack into the data base of eligible voters in the Southern Ijaw Local government area of Bayelsa State, with the intention of sabotaging the use of the electronic card reader during the rescheduled governorship election in the Southern Ijaw and one hundred and one other units, where elections are to be conducted on January 9th, 2016.

We have gathered this information from a very dependable source of an ongoing meeting between the APC candidate in Bayelsa, Chief Timipre Sylva, two National officers of his party, some forensic experts and hackers who are currently mapping strategies to manipulate the data base of eligible voters.

The said meeting, is holding at House No. 34, Lobito Crescent Abuja which coincidentally served as the Headquarters of the Buhari Support Organisation during the last Presidential election in the country.

The recruitment of the forensic experts and hackers, is with the intent to hack into INEC database, corrupt it and replace same with other frivolous names, particularly in those areas considered as the support base of the main contender, Governor Seriake Dickson of the Peoples Democratic Part, PDP.

The source explains that the machineries are also to be used, to broadcasting fake results on the day of the election.

We hereby call on the various security agencies to checkmate this latest attempt being made to truncate a peaceful electoral process in Bayelsa and ultimately prevent steps that can lead to another breakdown of law and order, during the rescheduled election.

We must also say that the perpetual silence of the President on the outcome of the Bayelsa election is not in any way helping the situation, since the perpetrators of these illegalities are still boasting of having the support of the Presidency and are hell-bent in manipulating the wishes of the Bayelsa electorate.

We have nurtured democracy this far and we will not allow the ambition of any individual or organization to truncate our democracy.

Election must be free, fair and credible in Bayelsa State.

Signed.
Ikurhite David,
