Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses, saya that he is proud to have played his 100th game for Chelsea in Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Brighton Hove Albion in the Premier League, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Moses becomes the third Nigerian player to reach the centurion mark playing for Chelsea after Celestine Babayaro and Mikel Obi.
The Nigeria international who joined the Blues in 2012 from Wigan Athletic for £9m was delighted to cap the milestone with a victory at Stamford Bridge to celebrate Christmas season.
Goals from Alvaro Morata and Marcos Alonso saw the Blues return to winning ways after they were held to a goalless draw by Everton at Goodison Park in their previous game.
“Back to winning ways today to celebrate Christmas 🎄⚽️ proud to make my 100th appearance for the club 💯,” the 27 year old tweeted after the game.
Moses is expected to be in action on Saturday when Chelsea face Stoke City at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are third in the English Premier League table behind Manchester City and Manchester United.
